Charlotte Thrane is a Danish visual artist who graduated with an MA Fine Art from the Slade School of Fine Art, London in 2003. In her practice, she primarily works with sculpture and installation, through which she examines the relationship between the individual and the communal, dealing with both bodily, emotional and social aspects.

She is represented by Galerie Parisa Kind, Frankfurt, DE. Her works are included in a number of private and public collections, including Deutsche Bank, DE, the Edward James Foundation, UK og Ernst & Young, UK. She has exhibited widely in Denmark and Europe, as well as in the USA, Australia and Russia. In Denmark she has exhibited at Viborg Art Museum (DK), HEART Museum (DK), Esbjerg Art Museum (DK), Kunsthal Charlottenborg (DK), Kunsthal Kongegaarden (DK) and Kunsthal Aarhus (DK). She has received work grants from The Danish Art Foundation six times, and carried out two permanent commissions in public buildings within the last few years. In 2022 she will present a solo exhibition at Galerie Parisa Kind in Frankfurt, DE as well as a site specific installation in Balenciaga's new Miami store, US.
